    Status: Partial

Note: Complete structured TY2025 cases support reviewed paper/PDF output. Legacy aggregate preview inputs are unsupported for filing. • Form 8880

Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions

    Status: Partial

    Status: Partial

Note: Supported TY2025 normal-HSA cases fill Lines 14a-17b and route Line 17b tax to Schedule 2 Line 17c and Line 18. Every positive manual or imported distribution requires an explicit owner and Line 14b amount or zero; a positive Line 14b also requires its earnings subset, including zero for rollover-only. After-age-65 Line 17a exceptions require owner-specific age/date evidence. Disability exceptions additionally require all IRC §72(m)(7) substantial-gainful-activity, medically-determinable-impairment, duration, and proof attestations. Death exceptions remain preview-only with `form_8889_death_beneficiary_detail`. MFJ returns with two HSA owners or mismatched contribution/distribution owners remain preview-only with `form_8889_multiple_hsa_owners` until separate Forms 8889 are supported. Imported 1099-SA routing requires Box 3 code 1 and Box 5 HSA; codes 2-6 and missing or non-HSA account types block filing readiness

The main form reconciles Parts I/II and marks/counts every official page-2 statement. Part III tax items, multiple issuers/counterparties for one asset, legacy account_type other drafts, and non-TY2025 packets remain blocked.

Note: Signed aggregate Line 14 routing is supported through Form 1040 Line 16, Form 6251 Line 10, Schedule 3 Line 6l, and eligible Schedule 2 Line 17z taxes; source Form 8978 attachments must be prepared outside TakoTax and block filing until attachment output is supported

  • Form 8962

    Premium Tax Credit

    Status: Partial

Note: Filing-ready TY2025 output covers explicitly attested annual Line 11, complete monthly Lines 12-23, lawful Part IV shared-policy Situations 1-4 (including the zero-family-size allocation case), and beneficial Part V alternative-marriage calculations. Monthly and Part IV cases require every Form 1095-A policy month, legal allocation percentages or independently correct tax-family SLCSP evidence, reconciled row totals, and the correct Line 9/10 answers. Multi-policy months require audited policy-state and benchmark-group identity: every policy in one calculation family/state/month must reconcile to one group and one effective Column B amount, including allocated rows; different states add. Distinct same-state benchmarks for the December-marriage separate-coverage-family exception remain preview-only until dedicated evidence is modeled. Part V requires the actual marriage date, joint-return eligibility answers, stable nonoverlapping claimed-dependent assignments, and the complete pre-marriage policy/member/month matrix reconciled to the regular Form 1095-A rows. Family size and household income must reconcile to taxpayer/spouse claimability, claimed dependents, complete Worksheet 1-1 additions, and the required-to-file dependent MAGI roster; taxpayer and spouse identifiers cannot be reused as dependents. Filers who lived in more than one poverty-table region, or joint filers who lived in different regions, must select the highest applicable table. Exception 1 is supported for married persons who meet the living-apart rules and file Head of Household or Single on Form 1040-NR; MFS Exception 2 and the below-FPL Marketplace-estimate or lawfully-present-Medicaid exceptions are supported only when every branch-specific answer is complete. Missing coverage rows, ambiguous benchmark identity, unlawful allocation combinations, unreconciled family or policy evidence, and unanswered or contradictory eligibility evidence remain preview-only and must be resolved before filing.
