Current limitation

TakoTax does not currently generate or file a complete amended return. Changing information in the app does not amend a return you have already filed. Use another preparation method for an amended return.

Refer to the current IRS instructions for Form 1040-X for amendment requirements. If you received an IRS notice, follow its instructions. The IRS also provides guidance for CP2000 notices.
